Bridal shows are an important way to get information and have fun. Make sure you get the most from your experience with these tips:

  1. Plan Ahead: Research the vendors that will be present at the bridal show and identify the ones you’re most interested in.
  2. Bring Essential Information:  Bring information such as your wedding date, venue and an approximate guest count. This helps vendors provide you with accurate and relevant advice.
  3. Ask Questions: Don’t be shy. This is your chance to have a one-on-one with a possible vendor.
  4. Attend the Runway Show: Fashion shows showcase the latest wedding attire and are great for inspiration. Be sure to look for our beautiful Sofia Bella Bridal gowns on our gorgeous models!
  5. Bring the Bride Tribe: Bring friends and family who will support your vision and have fun with you. 

But most importantly, have fun! Have some champagne, cake and remember this is preparation for your big day. Enjoy the journey.

Our Sofia Bella Bridal stylists strive to make your bridal appointment a smooth, fun, and satisfying experience. It takes a team to make the magic happen, so here’s what the bride can do before you arrive at the salon:

  1. Research and Gather Inspiration: Look for wedding dress styles, silhouettes, and designers that you like. Create a Pinterest board or collect images that inspire you. This helps your stylist understand your preferences and find options that align with your taste.
  2. Set a Budget: Determine a realistic budget for your wedding dress before your appointment. We’ll show you styles in your price range.  Don’t forget to budget for additional costs such as alterations, accessories and taxes.
  3. Make an Appointment: While walk-in appointments are OK, booking an appointment allows us to focus on you. Also, weekdays are quieter, if you prefer intimacy while weekends are busy and full of bride tribe energy.
  4. Wear Appropriate Undergarments: Save going commando for another time. Choose seamless nude or white underwear. Additionally, bring a strapless or convertible bra if you have one. Wearing the right undergarments help you visualize how the dress appears on you and makes the fitting process more accurate.
  5. Bring Supportive Companions: Invite a select group of friends or family whose opinions you trust and value. As Sofia Bella is an intimate boutique, we recommend the bride plus three. We can also Zoom or FaceTime those unable to be present.
